Four hours of workout following a 17 mile run the day before. Legs were definitely stale on bike and run. Went especially easy on bike but still hurting miles 45-50. Strong finish. Upper back sore during ride from adjustment lowering bars. Run was borderline painful from a general muscle soreness vantage point (quads). Overall, a HUGE weekend accomplishment to be followed by Monday travel to Hartford, CT and a recovery week with mostly short runs, stairs, and some resistance weights while holed up at Mohegan Sun hotel casino.

Heart rate was outstanding on this two hour run. Easily the lowest its ever been considering the distance. Base training is paying off. Also felt pretty good considering the lack of long runs in the past 30 days.

Felt a little groggy on bike but solid none the less. Swim was outstanding. Relaxed with good cheating c/u concentration and some drills.

3/5-07 to 3/14/07

Too many worklouts to itemize since I am just catching up on blog. Trip to California to spend time with coach all weekend then off to Florida and back-to-back to Cleveland. Workouts every day except 3 with unplanned days off 3/12, 3/13. Back in pool today and on bike for very short time. Poor return day due to travel stress?

Estimated totals since March 5:
Run - 5 hours
Bike - 7 hours
Swim - 4 hours
Weights - 3 hours

Looking forward to getting back on track with YMCA brick class Thurs 5:30AM!
